Jacky Ickx, the undisputed Belgian champion in motor racings, was born as a son of an engine journalist in Brussels on January 1st, 1945.

His career in motor sports started in 1964. In 1966, after transitioning from motorcycles to race cars, he directly recorded triumphs at long-distance racings. By 1972 he won as much as eight Formula 1 Grand Prix in six different countries.

Jacky Ickx became the racer driver legend with his successes at the 24 hours of Le Mans where he gained six triumphs within the years of 1969 to 1982.

Being the first to achieve this fame he bears the title "Mister Le Mans".

Jacky Ickx retired from the active motor sport in the mid nineties but still drove rallies until 1995.

Since early 1990 a close collaboration has developed from the ongoing care of his former racing cars like the 312 B2, 312 PB and 512 M. From 1998 - 2000 the Modena Motorsport team, together with Jacky Ickx, won all eight entries in the Shell Historic Challenge together with Jacky Ickx:
