Modena Motorsport

Since 1975 Uwe Meissner has had to do with Ferrari cars. Having trained as a Ferrari mechanic at the Ferrari importer Auto Becker, he took part in numerous courses in the Ferrari factory in Maranello in the 70s under Egon Welling. After his master craftsman's exam, Uwe Meissner established the company Modena Motorsport in Langenfeld; the company services and restores Ferrari cars.

In more than 25 years work for Ferrari, Modena Motorsport has accumulated an extensive technical and craft expertise, which the Ferrari lover benefits from in terms of service and restoration. This was confirmed when we were awarded the Promotional Price of the State of North-Rhine Westphalia for innovation in the field of restoration in 2002.

With his passion for the historic F1 cars, Uwe Meissner began at the end of the 80s to establish the service division for the king's class F1. With the sale of former F1 cars, the extensive services and the technical and logistical support, Modena Motorsport was able in time to create a platform to enable customers and guests to take part in the Modena Trackdays every year. The prevailing enthusiasm for historical car racing led, in 2003, to the company's designation as the world's first F1 Clienti base.
